Mini Bar (Closed)

Mini Bar Looking for a cup of Joe & wanting to try somewhere new, I headed to Mini Bar with a friend.  There have been quite a few stores in that particular spot, but I had really never noticed Mini Bar.  First off, the interior is awesome!  Lots of exposed wood, etc. you can tell that they took care in designing the place.

Coffee @ Mini BarWe were the only customers & had the run of the place.  I ordered a regular coffee & Dan got a cappuccino.  The coffee was good, nothing groundbreaking however.  Looking through the menu, they serve sandwiches, salads, breakfast (eggs, baked goods, etc) & frozen drinks. They give the items on the menu smug names which I found kind of odd.  Want a ‘Crazy for You’ (Prosciutto & Mozzarella Sandwich) with your ‘Ray of Light’ (Artichoke, Hearts of Palm & Avocado Salad)?  I just don’t get it. (Update: I learned afterwards that these are names of Madonna songs, go figure!)

All in all, a nice little coffee shop/Café.  I’m sure I’ll be going back to try the food.

Oh brother, ‘smug names’ lol. The sandwiches are named after Madonna songs. Hello! EROTICA…BORDERLINE…RAY OF LIGHT. Ring a bell?

Anyway, the sandwiches here are great because they are very light, on the healthy side and the bread is noticeably soft and fresh. Though I miss Other Worldly Waxes which used to be in this space, Mini Bar is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Check it out.

Ah, my knowledge of Madonna seems to be lacking. Still looking forwards to tasting the food there.
