Mermaid Inn (96 2nd Avenue between 5th & 6th Streets; review here) is having a crab boil this Labor Day weekend. 20 ‘clams’ gets you crab & a mallet. There are also $20 carafes of wine & $15 pitchers of beer. Runs Saturday the 4th, Sunday the 5th & Monday the 6th. Send summer out with a BANG! & the satisfying crunch of crushed crustacean!

Ohhhhh … wish I could have gone to this! I’d walk the 3000 miles just to have some steamed Crabs! Hope there was plenty of J.O Brand and/or Old Bay Seasoning. 😉
