Shop Your Values Week Begins Today

Shop Your Values Week (SYVW) begins today in New York City. SYVW “was created to encourage shoppers to seek out local businesses that offer ethical and sustainable products and services”. All businesses included are doing their part & have policies such as locally & ethically sourced goods, eco-friendly products, waste minimization, etc. Throughout New York City, restaurants, bars & shops will be offering discounts or free items with your order.
East Village and LES food & drink participants include; Bauhaus, Cafe Grumpy, El Maguey y La Tuna, FAB Cafe, Gaia Italian Cafe, Good Beer, John’s Of 12th Street, Lina Frey, Tuck Shop, Tompkins Sq. Greenmarket, Think Coffee, Veselka, Zucker Bakery & Zum Schneider.
There are also daily events featuring local businesses & one this Friday organized by Fourth Arts Block.
